The Sedalia Kennel Club, in Sedalia, MO, is an all-breed non-profit organization and a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC). We are dedicated to promoting the interest of dogs and breeders of pure-bred dogs.

Activities

The Sedalia Kennel Club…

• Has informative meetings with guest speakers and variety of topics
• Has “Play Date” meetings with our dogs in a variety of settings – agility, dog park, picnics, etc.
• Holds semiannual dog obedience classes (Spring and Fall) — open to the public
• Sponsors an annual all-breed AKC dog show in July in conjunction with the Jefferson City Kennel Club
• Supports University of Missouri veterinarian students with scholarships
• Monitors the legislation of dogs at the local, state and national levels
